Microsoft will redirect its $5 million yearly development incentive — sending $4.9 million to Mount Pleasant and $100,000 to county projects — to help stabilize tax bills and fund capital costs, village officials said.
The Village Board will decide spending in the 2027 budget process.
Microsoft is set to redirect its data center incentive to fund a property tax relief plan in Mount Pleasant — Village President said the funds will ease tax burdens for residents.
